Drawing from the original myth of the Golden Fleece, this version of Medea, adapted by Amanda Quaid, explores the early years of a marriage gone horribly wrong. Long before we meet them in Euripides, Jason and Medea fall in love. He's an ambitious young warrior, she's a peace-loving princess fascinated by magic. Part prequel, part adaptation, this work-in-progress Medea asks how one comes to be capable of violence.
